Tolerance on Trial: The Intolerance of Tolerance

On March 19, 2012, Albert Mohler interviewed D.A. Carson about his latest book, The Intolerance of Tolerance.  These two intellectuals, address the changes in views of tolerance, the practical applications seen today on campuses and other public settings, and the power of the gospel in the midst of the changing views.  The interview, “Tolerance on Trial,” is worth a listen to get a snapshot of the world, potential future trends, and the hope of the Jesus Christ in the midst of it all.

At the end of the interview, Mohler addresses the potential thoughts of dismissing the book because the topic of tolerance has been talked about and debated for the past ten to fifteen years.  Mohler raises the points of how the book deals with some of the current morphing of tolerance, its intellectual impact, and cultural manifestations.
