Book Review: From Good to Grace

From Good to Grace: Letting Go of the Goodness Gospel by From good to graceChristine Hoover is a well written book that is worth a read by anybody who has ever found themselves wondering if they are good enough or have found that life with Jesus Christ feels like a burden.

Hoover helps the reader change their focus and their thinking of seeking to please God, to receiving the grace that comes from Him and from being a child of God.  She exposes and disarms the fears and hopeless feeling that will always occur when we are living by the “goodness gospel” and not by the grace of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Though written for a female audience, the author’s principles and approach make the book readable and enjoyable for both genders.  All in all, From Good to Grace is a book to keep on your bookshelf and return to again and again.
