Dr. Linda Mintle has published a wonderful resource. We Need to Talk: How to Successfully Navigate Conflict is worth purchasing, reading, and reading again and again.
Not only does Dr. Mintle describe elements that contribute to conflict and ways of navigating conflict, she also spends time helping the reader look into their own hearts in the midst of conflict. By helping the reader look inward at their own heart, outward at the other person, and upward at God, We Need to Talk sets the table for a healthy, balanced approach to handling conflict.
If you are in the mental health or pastoral care areas of ministry, this books is worth putting on your shelf. If you do not live alone on a pillar on a mountain away from all forms of human interaction, this book is worth reading and keeping on your shelf for when you need help navigating conflict.
